Ok so it is the end of day 3 of classes and I'm really happy/incredibly exhausted! It's been a year since I have been to a university and I realize now why I was constantly taking naps.
Anyways my 16 hours of classes consists of 3 theatre classes (acting 1, intro to theatre, and stage management), history...again (post Civil War since Texas thinks it's better than the other 49 states and has to emphasize itself) and Spanish 4 (which I will most likely have a heart attack/brain malfunction in) as well as theatre practicum once a week for 4 hours (ouch).
Update on the acting class from my last post: my teacher is a sweetheart and makes me feel so comfortable that I didn't wait to be the last person to perform our intro monologues. That's really saying something! Also my stage management class is going to be difficult but very educational.
Finally, and most exciting, I've made friends! This makes me sound like a total loner who refuses to come out into the sunlight, but I can count the amount of people I met last year on one hand. I'm not discounting the people that I have met because they are all incredible people, but that's sad compared to life at my previous university where I met 60+ people just in my sorority every fall. So yes. I'm making friends and will continue to meet new people next week when rehearsal starts =D =D =D =D
